According to the Public Relations Department of the Judiciary, a meeting of the Judicial Council of South Khorasan Province was held in the presence of Hojjatul Islam Wal Muslimin Mohseni Ajeei, the head of the judiciary, members of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary and senior judicial managers of South Khorasan.
In this meeting, the head of the judiciary pointed to the importance of face-to-face meetings between the officials and the people and said: When people deliver their letters and written requests in the presence of an official, they have a double expectation to follow up on their problem. We agree with the people that we should pay attention to this issue and act in order to solve people’s issues and problems.
In this regard, he directed the officials of the Presidency and Public Relations Center of the Judiciary to follow up the public letters received during the visit of the Supreme Judicial Council to South Khorasan.
Hojjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Mohseni Ajeie, referring to the problems in the forensic medicine department in terms of equipment, facilities and shortage of doctors in different regions of South Khorasan Province, ordered the head of the Forensic Medicine Organization and the Chief Justice of South Khorasan to take appropriate measures to solve the problems in this area.
In another part of his speech, Hojjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Mohseni Ajeie mentioned the issue of the closed magnesium ingot factory in Ferdous city and said: a case like the case of the closed magnesium ingot factory, which is important for the people of Ferdous city and also for the production of the country, should not be postponed for 6 months. The three-member board’s expertise remains pending for the month, and it is necessary to follow up on it as soon as possible.
In this regard, the head of the Judiciary emphasized on the speedy follow-up of the issue of magnesium ingot factory by the Governor and Chief Justice of South Khorasan, as well as the representatives of this province in the Islamic Council.
Mr. Masjedi, the head of the Forensic Medicine Organization, who visited this factory during his provincial trip with the mission of the head of the judiciary, referring to the problems of the magnesium ingot factory in Ferdous city, which started its operation in 2013 with 6 production lines and 200 employees. But it was shut down after a short period, he said: Ferdous city officials, in addition to requesting the entry of the inspection organization into the matter of the magnesium ingot factory, their request is that the conditions for handing over this factory should be prepared.
Hojatul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Montazeri, the Attorney General of the country, also presented the report of his visit to Qain and said: During this visit, the necessary orders were issued to solve the problems of Qainat steel factory and Shahid Kaveh power plant.
In this meeting, Mr. Rahimi, the Minister of Justice, presented a report on the status of the property warehouses of South Khorasan province and said: a 20-day deadline was set for determining the assignment of those goods in these warehouses that did not have discovery minutes.
In this meeting, Mr. Sahibkar, the strategic deputy of the judiciary, while reading a report on the quality of providing services to the clients of judicial units in South Khorasan province, said that the most important advantage of the judiciary in this province is electronic proceedings.
In this meeting, Mr. Kazemifard, the head of the Judiciary’s Statistics and Information Technology Center, considered South Khorasan province as one of the most active provinces in the country in the field of statistics and information technology and said: South Khorasan province is among the leading provinces in terms of electronic filing of cases and can be designated as a pilot point in the country.
He stated that 90% of the proceedings related to the recent riots in South Khorasan province were conducted electronically, and added: As a result of the coordination and cooperation of the judiciary and the universities of South Khorasan, during the recent period, two court hearings in this province were held publicly and online. It was held with the presence of more than a thousand students of two law universities in South Khorasan.
Mr. Kazemifard further considered the holding of 20 electronic court sessions outside the country, 11 thousand electronic court sessions outside the province, as well as 500 cases of video meetings between the prisoner’s family and the convicted person among the significant measures of South Khorasan judiciary and said: as a result of monitoring the system traffic control in South Khorasan province, which was carried out for 4 years, and 7,600 fugitive criminals were arrested.

In this meeting, Mr. Mohammadi, the head of the prisons organization, while presenting a report on the state of prisons in South Khorasan province, informed about the employment of about 45% of the prisoners in this province.
Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Pourkhaqan, the head of the judicial organization of the armed forces, also stated in this meeting that a part of the barracks of the 04 army training center has not yet been transferred, and said: This barracks is located in the central part of the city of Birjand and has created problems for the people. If this transfer is carried out, two important streets of the city will be widened, thereby solving many of the central problems of the city.
In this regard, he added: As a result of the meeting held with the chief commander of the army in South Khorasan, the mayor of Birjand, the general director of roads and urban development, and the deputy governor of South Khorasan, good agreements were reached, and it seems that this old problem of the city will be resolved in the near future.
